Decorative Flooring
Flake, quartz, and metallic finishes for spaces people notice.
Overview
Where decorative flooring belongs
Decorative systems put design on the floor without giving up the durability of an industrial coating. Flake broadcast, quartz broadcast, and metallic epoxy each produce a distinct character — from clean and speckled to genuinely sculptural.
We install these systems in commercial lobbies, showrooms, retail, and hospitality spaces, and in custom and residential projects where the floor is meant to be a feature. Colour, texture, and gloss are chosen with you before work begins.
Typical applications
- Commercial lobbies and common areas
- Showrooms and retail floors
- Hospitality and restaurant spaces
- Offices and amenity areas
- Custom and residential feature floors
Performance
What we weigh before recommending
- Traffic and cleaning regime of the space
- Gloss versus satin finish — metallic epoxy can be either
- Colour movement — metallic finishes are deliberately one of a kind
- Slab condition, since decorative finishes telegraph the surface beneath
- Slip resistance appropriate to the area
System options
Flake broadcast
Coloured vinyl flakes broadcast into the coating and sealed — durable, forgiving, and available in many blends.
Quartz broadcast
Coloured quartz aggregate for added texture and slip resistance with a refined, granular appearance.
Metallic epoxy
Pigmented metallic coats worked by hand for movement and depth. Every floor is unique; finishes can be glossy or satin depending on the topcoat.
Installation
How the work runs

Colour, system, texture, and finish level are selected with you before work begins.
Mechanical preparation and repairs establish a sound, clean surface.
Base colour, flake or quartz broadcast, or hand-worked metallic layers are installed per system.
Where the system calls for it, the cured base is lightly sanded so the next coat bonds tightly.
The signature layer goes down — for example the metallic epoxy design coat, hand-worked to create your colour movement.
The specified topcoat seals the system, in the agreed gloss or satin finish.
Preparation & detailing
- Mechanical grinding and repairs before any decorative coat
- Clean, sound substrate — decorative finishes show what is beneath them
Maintenance & return to service
- Routine cleaning with suitable products preserves the finish
- Satin and gloss topcoats wear differently; high-traffic paths can be refreshed

Maintenance guide
Keep it looking new.
Flake, quartz, metallic and solid-colour floors stay bright with simple routine cleaning.
| Task | How often |
|---|---|
| Sweep or dust mop to lift grit and debris | Daily |
| Damp mop or auto-scrub with a pH-neutral cleaner and a soft pad | Daily to weekly, by traffic |
| Clean up spills, oils and chemicals | Right away |
| Walk the floor and check high-wear zones and edges | Every 6–12 months |
| Refresh the topcoat in traffic lanes if the sheen wears | As needed |
Do
- Use walk-off mats at entrances to keep grit off the floor
- Rinse with clean water after cleaning so no residue builds up
- Put felt or rubber pads under furniture and equipment feet
- For metallic floors, use a clean microfibre mop to keep the depth and gloss
Avoid
- Use harsh acids, citrus or vinegar cleaners — they dull the sheen
- Scrub with steel wool or aggressive black pads
- Drag sharp or heavy items across the surface
