Roofing & Waterproofing
Liquid-applied membranes for roof restoration and concrete waterproofing.
Overview
Where roofing & waterproofing belongs
Liquid-applied systems create seamless, reinforced membranes across roofs and concrete structures — including details that sheet systems struggle to wrap: penetrations, upturns, and irregular geometry.
We assess the existing condition, address moisture and substrate issues, and install liquid-applied systems with reinforcement and detailing suited to the structure. Where a roof is beyond restoration, we will say so.
Typical applications
- Roof restoration on suitable existing roofs
- Concrete roof decks and podium structures
- Planters and protected membrane areas
- Complex details, penetrations, and upturns
Performance
What we weigh before recommending
- Existing roof condition and moisture within the assembly
- Compatibility with the existing substrate
- Penetrations, drains, upturns, and terminations
- Reinforcement where movement or geometry demands it
- Weather windows for application and curing

Installation
How the work runs

We evaluate the existing roof, moisture condition, and details, and confirm restoration is appropriate.
Cleaning, repairs, and priming prepare the substrate.
Penetrations, drains, and upturns are reinforced and sealed first.
The liquid membrane is applied with embedded reinforcement at the specified build.
Curing, inspection, and documentation before the project closes.
Preparation & detailing
- Substrate cleaning and repair before any membrane
- Detailing at penetrations and terminations is part of the system
Maintenance & return to service
- Periodic inspection, especially at details and drains
- Keep drainage clear — ponding water shortens any roof's life

Maintenance guide
Keep it looking new.
Liquid roof membranes last best when water can always drain freely.
| Task | How often |
|---|---|
| Clear drains, scuppers and gutters | Spring and fall |
| Walk the roof and check flashings, penetrations and edges | Twice a year and after storms |
| Gently wash reflective topcoats to keep them bright | Yearly |
| Recoat the top layer where it shows wear | As needed |
Do
- Use walk pads where people service equipment
- Call us to seal any new penetration
Avoid
- Let water pond around blocked drains
- Use sharp tools or shovels on the membrane
